Video Consultations

Where appropriate, you will be invited by a GP to attend a video consultation from your home or wherever is convenient using a device that makes video calls (a laptop or smartphone).

Video calling is as convenient as a phone call, with the added value of face-to-face communication.  It can also save you time and money, and brings your care closer to home.

Please be advised a GP is the only person who can authorise a video call.  You must follow the normal procedure of contacting our reception on 01361 885040 when you feel you need to see a GP.  The receptionist will ask for a brief description of your symptoms and advise that a GP will call you back as soon as it is possible for them to do so.  When a GP calls you back they will discuss your symptoms with you in a little more detail.  If the GP thinks it would be appropriate to invite you for a video consultation, you will be asked to access the Attend Anywhere Portal where you will be taken to a 'virtual' waiting room. If you been asked by a GP to take part in a video consultation click the button below to start the video call.
